They will engage in reading and analysis of various informational materials, including articles, biographies, news reports, and more. Through the practice of close reading and active discussions, students will strengthen their comprehension skills by honing their ability to identify main ideas, make inferences, and analyze the distinct textual features found in non-fiction writing. This exploration will empower students to navigate and extract meaning from a diverse range of non-fiction texts, equipping them with valuable skills for critical thinking and understanding real-world information.
