Course Description: In this engaging elementary-level course, students will embark on a creative journey in digital marketing and design. Throughout the two-week program, they will explore the foundations of digital art creation and design principles, learning about composition, color theory, and visual communication. Students will get hands-on experience with versatile design tools like Canva, creating social media graphics, posters, and digital collages. They will also dive into the world of digital illustration, practicing different techniques and utilizing drawing tools and assets in Canva. In the second week, students will be introduced to Adobe Illustrator, mastering vector graphics, shape creation, typography, and advanced techniques. The course culminates in a final project where students showcase their skills by creating a comic or book cover. Through this course, students will develop their artistic abilities, digital design skills, and creative problem-solving, preparing them for future endeavors in the exciting world of digital marketing and design.
