English Teacher

Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for an English Teacher located in Tokyo but with some flexibility for remote work. The English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English to students, creating lesson plans, and collaborating with the teaching staff. The English Teacher will also need to communicate effectively with students to provide an excellent language learning experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in English teaching, with a TESOL, CELTA, or JLTCT certification preferred
  • Experience in education and teaching
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to create effective lesson plans
  • Fluency in English, with knowledge of Japanese language a plus
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or related field
  • Experience living and teaching in Japan or other foreign countries

Additional Note

  • Location: Flexible (In Person & Remote)
  • Employment type: Part-time/Freelance/Contract
  • Compensation: 2900-3900 Competitive, based on experience and qualifications. (TBD)
  • Transportation fee: Up to 600 per day
  • Working Hours: Monday to Sunday 9am to 8pm (You can choose with your convenient time)

Teaching Assistants

We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech savvy Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide administrative support in various areas, including Human Resource, Marketing, and Language Teaching. This position is ideal for Japanese returnees with a native-level Japanese language proficiency and fluency in English. Previous experience in Human Resource, Marketing, or Teaching is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese language proficiency
  • Fluent or business-level proficiency in English
  • Previous experience in Human Resource, Marketing, or Teaching is preferred.
  • Tech-savvy and passionate about technology.
    (Experience on Canva, G Suite, and other new platforms is preferred).
  • Detail-oriented and enjoys supporting people.
