Cancellation Policy

About cancellation: 

For questions regarding late arrival, class absences, or anything else not stated here, please contact booking@toranomon-ls.com

For Private lessons:

Please ensure to initiate cancellations within 24 hours before your scheduled lesson. For Monday lessons, cancellations are permissible until 16:00 on the preceding Friday. Notably, classes scheduled after school or national holidays necessitate cancellations by 16:00 (Mon. – Fri.) on the last working day preceding the holiday.  For any changes made after this 24-hour window, please contact booking@toranomon-ls.com

For Group lessons:
Please contact booking@toranomon-ls.com if you are running late or need to make a cancellation, or for any other questions.

Being late for class

Please contact booking@toranomon-ls.com as soon as possible. Toranomon Language School will let your instructor know.
If you have successfully contacted the school:
Your teacher will wait for you online. Class will end on time as scheduled.
If you have not contacted the school about your delay:
Your teacher will wait for you online for 15-20 minutes. After that, the online meeting for the lesson will be closed and you will not be able to enter. You will be charged the full amount for the lesson.

Cancellation

For private lessons, you will not be charged if you contact booking@toranomon-ls.com up to 24 hour before your lesson. Please book a new private lesson.
For group lessons, if you contact booking@toranomon-ls.com up to 24 hours before your lesson, the lesson will be counted as a class attendance and will use one membership ticket. We will send you a video of the class.
Any cancellation within 24 hours prior to the lesson will be counted as a class attendance and will use one membership ticket.

Making changes to lesson times

For group lessons, we do not accept any schedule changes. We do not provide refunds for shorter attendance, nor do we provide extended lesson times.
For private lessons, please contact booking@toranomon-ls.com to make any changes to future lessons. We do not provide refunds for shorter attendance, nor do we provide extended lesson times.

In the unlikely event that your teacher does not show up, or lessons are stopped due to an unexpected emergency: please contact booking@toranomon-ls.com.
